I need to update this picture. I currently play the Yamaha BB605 modded with Batolini electronics. My new amp is the Genz Benz Shuttle 3.0 - 10T.
Maybe I can keep this one up-to-date. I haven't been good about MySpace or FaceBook. We'll see...

- Nothing to out of the ordinary about me. I'm married to a very understanding and patient wife and have the most beautiful and amazing 2 year old daughter anyone could ask for. I teach high school music and play in a number of fun groups.

My Projects
SFI (Sill Fighting It) is a 4 piece acoustic/pop/rock cover band - guitar, keys, bass and drums. We do a wide variety of music from the 60's to now from a variety of genres. We can be seen around town at Sander's, The Blue Moose, Suite 49 and Whitey's. We also play special and private events.
RCJ (River City Jazz) is an unconventional jazz trio with trombone lead and no drums. We do "standard" jazz in our own way. We play a couple Thursday's a month at 'l Bistro, a nice little bar at the CanadInn complex, as well as some special events around town.
MSG (Matt Strand Group) is your basic quartet with trumpet lead. We do "standards" but will venture out as well. This one is just getting started but we have gigs on the books.
